Author Biography

Emily Winters

Emily Winters is a History major, currently in her third year of undergraduate study. She works part-time at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. She hopes to continue her schooling into graduate studies, hopefully one day earning a doctorate in history. She hopes that this poem will provide a brief escape, a “mental sky” which the reader can visit now and again to clear their headspace in such turbulent times.
